When everything is looking good, click Save. The last option here is to keep the students anonymous or not. If you uncheck, you can share the results after everyone has submitted them instead. To share the results as soon as the question is answered, you can keep that box checked. To add a poll to your channel, click on the three dots on the toolbar below the place to start a new post. There are many different kinds of questions you can ask, such as: ice breakers, checking their understanding, or recap questions! Adding a poll to your channel discussion will give your students the opportunity to voice their opinion & participate fully, while you are able to get some insight into their progress.
